As a DJ, I primarily plays hip hop/R&B. Other genres I dabble with include reggae, reggaeton, pop, rock, C/K/J-Pop, basically anything else that sounds pleasing to my ear. My goal is to rock parties and I do that well.
DJs that I look up to include Rectangle, Break, Clinton Sparks, Green Lantern, Kid Capri, and Spinbad.
My musical taste stretches across the spectrum… hip hop/rap/R&B to pop and boybands to 80s/90s rock/metal (Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, Metallica) to soothing bossa nova when I need to fall asleep and sleeping pills aren’t doing the trick.
I have too many records, CDs, and mp3s for my own good.
And I love remixes and collabos. If Utada Hikaru did a collabo with Jay Z produced by Clinton Sparks with Kanye on the chorus and Pharrell with the intro, I’d basically skeet on the spot.
